Latest phtography workshop....

We had a great time last weekend on Part 3 of our photography training workshops/ photo-walks. Aimed at any level of experience and any camera, the workshops are designed to be fun, interactive and a way to learn to be able to use our cameras to better express our creative vision.

On the latest workshop, we looked mainly at what many people consider to be the most important aspects of photography.....the quality and direction of light. We explored the differences between hard and soft light, how that affects our subjects and also how the direction of light affects the result.

Many photographers will shy away from direct sunlight as it is considered to be hard and unflattering. We tried to see that any light can be used as we know how to use our cameras to handle and control it.

If you would like to be a part of the next photo-walk, please head over to the group training page on Facebook and join in...

We will be repating some of the earlier and more basic workshops soon as well as running number 4 which will be about using flash on and off camera....should be a good one.

Here are a few edited shots from last Saturday.....
