Welcome to new wedding clients Leonie and Tristan

We are pleased to welcome Leonie and Tristan as our latest wedding clients for 2011. We finally got to meet up in Manchester after lots of emails and got on really well! They are to be married next year at the beautiful Dalston Hall in Carlisle, Cumbria. We are excited to be covering their whole day and are looking forward to working and planning with them over the coming months.

Veranda Home Interiors advertising shoot

Ian MacMichael photography has recently completed a shoot for local business Veranda Home Interiors. The image is to be used in their advertising in local magazines. It was a late night shoot that proved quite a challenge, photographer Ian: "it was a shoot that went on till quite late but we really wanted to get the right image for the client who was really involved in helping with the shoot and lighting set up! We use 3 lights and shot only around 20 pictures till we got the one we wanted." The image was passed onto Gra over at Stylographic design who put the text and branding on ready for submission to the magazine. A team effort!

Annemarie and Patrick's Ireland wedding....

Wow! We had an amazing 3 days in Ireland at a fantastic wedding with wonderful people, it was a privilege to be a part of this great occasion. Here are just a few images from the day, please leave your comments........

West Tower partnership.

We are pleased to announce that Ian MacMichael photography has been appointed as the only preferred photography supplier for the West Tower Hotel. This comes after the successful completion of their 2011 brochure photography and the formation of an excellent working relationship with them. The photography on their website and all their marketing materials will be the work of photographer Ian MacMichael. Ian "working with the West Tower has been a great experience, John really knew what he wanted and also what he didn't want! We managed to produce some creative images that really convey the feeling the venue has and that the client is very happy with". The image shown here is the one selected for the front cover of the brochure.
We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with the West Tower over the coming years. Some sample images will follow when the brochure goes to print.
