Image of the week 2012, number 15

This week I went for a little wander around a cemetery with the camera and there were lots of interesting pictures to make. I have chosen this one as it's not obvious that it's a cemetery and I liked the contrast between the fallen trunk of a tree with new spring daffodils flowering next to it...an interesting picture of life and death in nature in the midst of a cemetery. Just a simple black and white conversion in Lightroom 4
