Heather and Mark's wedding.....

We had a great time photographing Mark and Heather's wedding last week! The weather was great and there were some lovely touches, from afternoon tea after the ceremony, including home made cup cakes and bunting through to a hog roast and ice cream van in the evening! We even made use of the steel hoardings around the church tower! It was a lovely day, here are a few images........

The West Tower wins prestigious award

Last week, we found out that the exclusive wedding venue The West Tower has won the Country Brides award as the Best Wedding Venue in Lancashire! This is a great achievement in an extremely competitive category. As their only preferred photographer, we are delighted to share a little in this great award. Well done to Brian and the entire team at West Tower......

Kath and Tod's wedding....

Last weekend, we were delighted to photograph Kath and Tod's wedding on the Wirral. It was especially nice as Hazel and Kath are cousins and there were lots of familiar faces there on the day. Here a few images....enjoy!

Paul and Elisa's 60 Hope Street wedding

A couple of weeks ago we shot the lovely and intimate ceremony for Paul and Elisa at 60 Hope Street. Colin and the team really at 60 really looked after them and the cake was fabulous! After threatening skies all morning, the sun actually came out and they were able to have their drinks reception outside. All in all, a special day and lots of really beautiful images, a few of which are here......

Rachel and Gareth's wedding

A couple of weeks ago, we were delighted to cover the wedding of Rachel and Gareth. Rachel is the third sibling of a family whose wedding we have photographed and it was great seeing lots of familiar faces! We have a fab day and the rain held off just long enough! Enjoy......

International Award Winner........

This week, we were absolutely delighted to find out that one of our images has been placed 7th in the quarterly contest of the Artistic Guild Wedding Photojournalists Association. This is probably the most prestigious international awards competition in documentary wedding photography.

The AG|WPJA recognises excellence in photojournalistic wedding photography and excellence in creative and artistic editing.

The comment from the judges was "Good clean composition and great detail in this edit. Well done."

There are of thousands of entries from all over the world into each quarterly competition and 20 winners are selected in each category. To find out one of our images has been placed so highly in an international contest is amazing.

It's further recognition of our work and we're now even more determined to continue to produce images of this standard for all our brides and grooms!
